Sanderson Weatherall were instructed to carry out management of Jardine Motors Group’s Business Rate Accounts. There portfolio consists of a mixture of occupied and empty properties.

The Government abolished Empty Rate Relief with effect from the 1st April 2008, which meant a significant increase in their empty property liability, with an Office block in the North East having an annual empty liability of circa £165,000.
