Benfield Motor Group - Rating Appeal Advice

Sanderson Weatherall is retained to advise Benfield Motor Group on the Rating Assessments of all of their properties and on rates liabilty. This instruction has to date resulted in considerable business rates savings for the client.

This property was one of the client’s Leeds portfolio and on inspection by Robert Brown it was observed that a large but valuable part of the property was seriously under-used.

Proactive advice was given on portfolio usage resulting in the client making relatively small operational changes to his business that created large rates liability savings of in excess of £113,000.
