View our Leeds Offices Market Update for Q2 2017. Total office market take-up in Q2 stood at 226,509 sq ft which reflected a 77,380 sq ft / 52% uplift increase on Q2 2016. In Q2 the Leeds office market demonstrated its resilience in the face of an uncertain economic climate posting improved take-up compared to both the preceding quarter and equivalent period last year.

Leeds office take-up rises in Q1 of 2017

View our Leeds Offices Market Update for Q1 2017. The Leeds office market take-up in Q1 stood at 160,679 sq ft which reflected a 22,055 sq ft increase on the preceding quarter. In Leeds city centre, take-up totalled 104,936 sq ft, across 22 transactions. There were two significant lettings over 20,000 sq ft with the largest city centre transaction being the letting of 25,985 sq ft at 5 Wellington Place to Willis Towers Watson. The other letting of note being BW Legal’s acquisition of 1 Apex View for their sole occupation.

Three Leeds City Office Park reaches full occupancy following letting to ADT

ADT Fire and Security, the UK’s leading alarm system provider, has become the latest tenant at Three Leeds City Office Park in Leeds city centre. Our office agency team in Leeds let the 3,500 sq ft ground floor office to the security business, on a five year lease. The letting brings the 69,500 sq ft building, which is owned by Canada Life Investments, to full occupancy. Other occupiers include Unilever, Atos, SD Worx, NHS and International Personal Finance.

Seven companies move into Grade-I listed Leeds landmark

The Leeming Building in Leeds has become the new home of seven businesses since opening its doors in April 2017 following an extensive refurbishment, with a total of 70% of the space either let or under offer. The scheme has attracted two new businesses to Leeds; Cream Consultancy a PR company previously based in Barnsley and LA Marzocco an internationally renowned producer of handmade Italian coffee machines. Other occupiers include two specialist recruitment companies, Amsource Technology and Catalyst, two design agencies, Analogue and Common Room Design and Planet Sport a sports media specialist.

Leeds Offices Market Update Q4 2016

The Leeds office market tabled total take-up of 138, 624 sq ft in Q4 of 2016. Leeds City Centre take-up totalled 109,682 sq ft across 30 transactions. The largest transactions of the quarter saw Medical Protection Society acquire 22,685 sq ft at 1 Victoria Place, and BDO LLP take 12,755 sq ft at Central Square. Out of Town take-up totalled just 28,942 sq ft (Q4 2015: 98, 490 sq ft), in what continues to be a challenging period for the out of town market. Across the 21 out of town transactions, the largest saw SD Taylor Ltd take 6,105 sq ft at Turnberry Business Park in Morley.

Allied Glass to move to new premises at Wakefield Europort

Allied Glass, the premium glass packaging manufacturer, is moving to new premises at Wakefield Europort, the region’s leading logistics and distribution centre. Allied Glass has taken the 189,142 sq ft Eurohub facility, located on California Way, on a 10-year lease. The newly refurbished property, which includes 176,013 sq ft of warehouse space and 13,129 sq ft of office space, will be primarily used for bottle decoration and storage. Allied Glass design, develop and manufacture premium glass packaging for leading brands in the food and drinks sector.
