View our Leeds Offices Market Update for Q2 2017. Total office market take-up in Q2 stood at 226,509 sq ft which reflected a 77,380 sq ft / 52% uplift increase on Q2 2016. In Q2 the Leeds office market demonstrated its resilience in the face of an uncertain economic climate posting improved take-up compared to both the preceding quarter and equivalent period last year.

Three Leeds City Office Park reaches full occupancy following letting to ADT

ADT Fire and Security, the UK’s leading alarm system provider, has become the latest tenant at Three Leeds City Office Park in Leeds city centre. Our office agency team in Leeds let the 3,500 sq ft ground floor office to the security business, on a five year lease. The letting brings the 69,500 sq ft building, which is owned by Canada Life Investments, to full occupancy. Other occupiers include Unilever, Atos, SD Worx, NHS and International Personal Finance.

Northumbrian water confirmed as new Spectrum tenant

Acting on behalf of Spectrum Business Park, our Newcastle agency team has let two of the three floors of Spectrum 5 to Northumbrian Water. Spectrum Business Park is one of the region's fastest growing business parks and following the letting of 27,000 sq ft to Northumbrian Water, the park is now over 75% occupied. John McGovern, Head of Asset Delivery at Northumbrian Water, said: “This move will create one central hub for our infrastructure teams and gives us the opportunity to work closer with our framework partners under one roof. Newcastle Offices Market Update Q1 2017

  The Newcastle office market tabled total take-up of 210,502 sq ft in the first quarter of 2017. In the city centre there were eight deals with a total take up of 33,461 sq. ft, broadly similar to Quarter 1 2016 with the most significant letting being Frank Recruitment Group acquiring 19,200 sq. ft in the St Nicholas Building. In the out of town market take up was over double the previous quarter at 177,041 sq. ft across 39 transactions. The principle transactions were Durham Police purchasing 33,600 sq. ft at Doxford Business Park and Barratt Homes purchasing 20,000 sq. ft at Metro Riverside. At the two major out of town parks we saw existing occupiers acquire additional space, as evidenced at Quorum Business Park with Insure the Box at 13,000 sq. ft and Macaw Engineering at 7,089 sq. ft. Furthermore at Cobalt Accenture acquired an additional 11,604 sq. ft.

Leeds office take-up rises in Q1 of 2017

View our Leeds Offices Market Update for Q1 2017. The Leeds office market take-up in Q1 stood at 160,679 sq ft which reflected a 22,055 sq ft increase on the preceding quarter. In Leeds city centre, take-up totalled 104,936 sq ft, across 22 transactions. There were two significant lettings over 20,000 sq ft with the largest city centre transaction being the letting of 25,985 sq ft at 5 Wellington Place to Willis Towers Watson. The other letting of note being BW Legal’s acquisition of 1 Apex View for their sole occupation.

Oldham office building sold to Immigration Advice Service

Immigration Advice Service, the specialist immigration solicitors, has purchased Ashwood House in Oldham. The 7,500 sq ft office property was sold freehold for £400,000, by our Manchester agency team. David Murray, head of our agency team in Manchester said, “This is a fantastic office space for Immigration Advice Service and we are pleased to have secured this sale on behalf of our client.”
