Our commercial agency team identified and negotiated the acquisition of the new main office for our long term client Greggs. The new office, situated in Quorum Business Park in North Tyneside is a three-storey, 30,715 sq ft Grade A office space located in the Q9 building at the business park.

Quorum Business Park was selected due to its prime location, excellent transport links and close proximity to Greggs’ existing offices and production centres. Other occupiers of the business park include Tesco Bank, Balfour Beatty and British Engines.

Our in house architecture team designed the new office fit-out after being appointed in 2014 to design a modern, innovative new office space which would relocate the company’s employees in the region into a modern business hub.

Greggs initially appointed our architecture team in 2014 to design a modern, innovative new office space which would relocate the company’s employees in the region into a modern business hub. Our architecture team worked closely with our office agency team to confirm Greggs requirements could be accommodated within the Q9 building.

Our distinct integrated collaborative approach enabled Greggs to secure a new main office which our architects designed to exactly match the company’s needs.

 

Quorum Business Park was selected due to its prime location, excellent transport links and close proximity to Greggs’ existing Innovate and Arcadia offices and its Balliol and Gosforth production centres.  Our integrated turnkey service will also see us project manage the design and construction process.

Head of commercial agency, Robert Patterson, identified and negotiated the acquisition on behalf of Greggs, whilst Lee Sanderson, head of our national architecture team, designed the new office fit-out. Building consultancy associate partner, Victoria Bollands, will assist architecture with co-ordinating the refurbishment.

Quorum’s on-site amenities include tennis courts, a seven-a-side football pitch and a boules court, a children’s nursery, shops and a restaurant. Around 500 trees have been planted and quiet garden areas and piazzas with fountains and benches are located throughout.

 

The Hub, Quorum’s occupier centre, offers pool bikes, a commuter centre and a car share scheme. It also organises barbeques, social and sporting events with over 300 on-site events each year.
