Plans revealed for mixed-use development in York

Plans have been unveiled for a new mixed-use development at the site of Hudson House in York City Centre.

The development is set to include 35,000 sq ft of Grade A office space, as well as 130 apartments and potential retail space, split between four buildings.

The development will link York train station to Toft Green and Micklegate, through a landscaped route.

Richard Dunn, office letting agent on the scheme, commented, “It’s fantastic to see plans for this kind of development in York. Businesses looking to relocate to York City Centre have had limited choice in terms of high quality, grade A accommodation for some time. I have no doubt that this scheme will deliver a vibrant new centre for business, and generate substantial interest.”

Leeds-based architects Fuse Studios are designing the scheme, and owners Palace Capital plc plan to submit a formal planning application next month.

We have let an office space at City Point in Leeds, to Black Solicitors, on behalf of Redefine International. Black Solicitors has taken the second floor of City Point, which is located on King Street in Leeds, on a 10 year lease. The 11,000 sq ft space will allow the law firm to consolidate their office space from two separate buildings, to one single floor.
