Asset valuation certification awarded to Matthew Clarke

Published on: 7th June 2017

Congratulations to Matthew Clarke, Partner in our Teesside valuation team who has recently gained his certification in asset valuation.

The accreditation by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy (CIPFA) focused on local authority asset valuations.

The qualification required Matthew to complete four training days and at the end of each module demonstrate his level of understanding through multiple choice and narrative questionnaires.

Matthew said, “I felt it would be useful to expand my knowledge of local authority asset valuations. Having carried out a number of these valuations in the past years, I felt that it was important to understand both why they are carried out and the relevant rules and regulations surrounding them.

Our valuation team has a long established national reputation for the quality and range of its services and surveyors are actively encouraged to develop their personal expertise above and beyond the required 20 hours continued professional development required to retain their chartered surveyor status.
