Vine Lane School is a centrally located two storey property with opportunity to develop over the existing box office and yard to create a large new build development.

The 6,189 sq ft property is within close proximity of both Northumbria and Newcastle University, the Civic Centre and Northumberland Street, the retail core of the city.

We are now inviting offers for the development opportunity and ask that prospective purchasers submit their written offers by midday on Friday 29th September.

Various proposals were discussed for the site during the mid-20th century – including using it as an extension to the neighbouring City Pool – but none were ever implemented. It was subsequently bought in 2013 by leisure charity Fusion Lifestyle as part of its acquisition of both Newcastle City Hall, and the City Pool and Turkish Baths.
