Fundraising begins for annual charity bike ridePublished on: 5th June 2014
A team of seventeen property experts from across the Sanderson Weatherall offices have signed themselves up to a gruelling three day, 175 mile bike ride to raise money for charity.
The ride will depart from Whitehaven on 19th July 2014, and travel up to Carlisle, through Kielder Forest, and back down to Tynemouth.
The charities, which were chosen by staff at Sanderson Weatherall, include, 4Louis, a County Durham based charity supporting bereaved parents; Steps Charity a national charity supporting individuals and the families of those with lower limb conditions, and Martin House Hospice, a children’s hospice based in Yorkshire.
Last year, the firm raised in excess of £4500 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Yorkshire Air Ambulance in a similar 200 mile bike ride.
