Wind turbine permission in LauncestonPublished on: 12th September 2014
Sanderson Weatherall provided planning consultancy services for the wind turbine, with a tower hub height of 20.6m and blade diameter of 13.1m.
The site is close to a number of airfields so by liaising with NATs, the UK’s leading provider of air traffic control services, Sanderson Weatherall was able to ensure that planning permission was obtained within eight weeks of submission, despite potential conflicts, which were all resolved.
Speaking about this success, Owen Pike, planner at the Bristol office of Sanderson Weatherall said:
“This demonstrates the breadth of skills at Sanderson Weatherall’s planning department. Other projects we are currently advising on include a stud farm redevelopment in a Green Belt location, caravan and leisure park expansion projects and several large scale solar parks.”
