Post Budget rates boost as staircase tax formally axed

Published on: 5th November 2018 Thousands of firms across England will be able to ask for tax rebates to their business rates bills going back as far as 2010 with the Queen today having given Royal Assent to turn the bill to reverse the effects of the so called Staircase Tax into an Act of Parliament.

Leeds city centre office market on track for another stellar year

Published on: 24th October 2018 View our Leeds offices market update for Q3 2018 here. In the City centre, take up totalled 191,464 sq ft across 39 transactions. The largest deal of the quarter saw HMRC take 60,000 sq ft at 3 Wellington Place. The second largest deal, also at 3 Wellington Place, saw Mazars take 13,000 sq ft on the top floor.
