Two purpose built nursing homes on the market in the North East

Published on: 23rd January 2019 Our Asset Advisory & Restructuring team has been instructed by the Cleveland Alzheimers Residential Centre Ltd as joint agents along with Christie + Co to disposal of two purpose built nursing homes in Stockton-on-Tees. Kirkdale and Allison House are situated within the Teesdale Business Park, both registered for 38 residents with Kirkdale offered for sale vacant (previously registered for nursing and dementia care) and Allison House offered as a trading home providing nursing and dementia care run under management – guide prices are £700,000 and £1.35 million respectively.

Leeds Office Market Report Q4 2018

Total take-up in Leeds city centre reached 663,233 sq ft in 2018, 10% above the 10 year average, whilst the out of town sector reached a total take-up of 399,582 sq ft, a 22% increase on the previous year.

Cherished number plate sold for £49,000

Published on: 21st January 2019 Our machinery and business assets team recently sold the “W1 NGS” number plate by online auction, realising £49,000 in the process. The highest bid on the plate was made by a purchaser on behalf of his son who earned his pilot’s license at the age of 17. He jointly holds the world record for the most airfields visited in 24 hours by a fixed-wing aircraft (87 total number).

WYG moves headquarters to Leeds city centre

Published on: 17th January 2019 Professional services firm WYG has today announced that it will be moving its corporate headquarters to the 3 Sovereign Square development, in Leeds city centre from its current base in Headingley. Sanderson Weatherall’s head of agency, Richard Dunn, acted on behalf of WYG in securing the new premises, having been appointed as national property advisor to the firm at the end of last year.
