Secured Lenders

We have established links with, and are panel valuers for the majority of the secured lending community, including mainstream banks or asset based lenders. Arising out of that relationship and augmented by our many years of corporate recovery expertise, we are often asked to advise secured lenders with property related issues at the stage before they have considered formal insolvency options.

We can carry out an overall review of the lender’s security, typically working with the lender’s solicitor, in terms of current value and prospects for realisation. We will also identify threats or impairments to the security property and make recommendations for these to be “repaired” in order to strengthen the lender’s position if recourse to formal recovery proceedings is eventually to be had.

We are fully aware of the sensitivity of such commissions and pride ourselves on usually being able to work in a non-confrontational manner with the lender’s customer in order not to damage the lender’s relationship.

For lenders considering a Law of Property Act Receiver based solution/exit, we offer a full service via our RICS Registered Receivers – please visit our dedicated pages on this service.
